”Rock with You” was released on November 3, 1979, as the second single from Michael Jackson’s fifth solo LP and breakthrough album, Off the Wall. Written by Heatwave group member and songwriter Rod Temperton, the song helped Jackson score one of the first Billboard number-one singles in the 1980s, as well as one of the last big hits of the disco era. It reached number one on both the pop and R&B singles chart and became one of Jackson’s most-loved songs. A video for the song shows a smiling Jackson dancing in a sequined suit against a background laser. According to Billboard, the song was the fourth biggest single of 1980. It was re-released as a single on February 27, 2006, as part of the Visionary: The Video Singles box set. The song was later covered by singer Brandy in 1995 for Quincy Jones’ album, Q’s Jook Joint. It was also covered by Ashanti in 2003 as a remix to her single “Rock With Me (Aww Baby)” and performed at the BET Awards. In 2008, Michael’s sister, Janet, released “Rock with U” (a house / club number), from her Discipline album. Although similar in name, the songs are completely different in lyrics and music. Chris Brown performed it on the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. The song was covered by the company Wavegroup for the game Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol. House music Japanese band Cargo made a cover of the song in their 2007 album “Jewel”. Off The Wall Album: Off the Wall is the fifth studio album by the American pop musician

He’s helped visually by having the horn section and back up singers on stage with him. He did well, but he looks happy it’s over. He gets a great response. Randy: Thinks he knocked it out of the box. ”More Than a Feeling” is a song by the rock band Boston, released as the lead single from their eponymous debut album on Epic Records in September 1976, with “Smokin’” on the flipside. The single peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100. The track has become a staple of classic rock radio and is ranked as #500 on the list of Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Songs of All Time and in 2009 it was named the 39th best hard rock song of all time by VH1. Campaign of 2008.. in February 2008, Scholz(lead guitar and bass guitarist for Boston) wrote to Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, requesting him to stop performing the song at public appearances. Huckabee, an amateur bassist, was reported to have been regularly playing the song, sometimes with former Boston band member Barry Goudreau. In his letter, Scholz wrote: While Im flattered that you are fond of my song, Im shocked that you would use it and the name Boston to promote yourself without my consent. Your campaigns use of “More Than A Feeling”, coupled with the representation of one of your supporters as a member “of Boston”, clearly implies that the band Boston, and specifically one of its members, has endorsed your candidacy, neither of which is true. Boston is the debut album by American rock band Boston, released in August of 1976 on Epic Records, catalogue 32038. It peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200, and has been certified as selling 17x platinum in 2003. The album broke fast, with three singles becoming
